The Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) has issued public statements against two scam entities, Nopureum and ProTradingView. Members of the public are warned not to deal with either of these scam entities, which falsely claim to be regulated by the JFSC and provide financial services from Jersey.

Both entities appear to provide investment and/or trading platforms from Jersey, which are fraudulent. Recent national media reporting has exposed similar platforms that could be linked to funding criminal activities, including terrorist financing, money laundering and/or proliferation financing.

As general rules:

  1. Be wary of sharing personal details and financial information, such as bank account details, with platforms you cannot verify as genuine or secure.
  2. Do not install unknown software, apps or widgets that could pose a cyber-security risk to you or your business.

Anyone who has had dealings with the impersonating entities should email the JFSC's Enforcement team at enforcement@jerseyfsc.org.
