The FIU is happy to announce that we have recently relocated to new premises at Maritime House as part of our comprehensive three-part transformation programme that includes technology, legislation, and location. As Jersey's independent intelligence agency, we have completed a key stage by relocating from the States of Jersey Police Headquarters to dedicated premises better suited to our requirements.

FIU Director Jonathan Groom commented:

"This is a positive move for the FIU as we look to change from a law enforcement to an administrative FIU model, adopt international best practices in preventing financial crime and work with our local and global partners to protect Jersey's financial services industry and the Island's economic prosperity."

The move provides the FIU with a more secure location and, in the future, will allow it to adopt new technology and systems as part of our wider transformation program. A further benefit of the move is that the new location will allow the FIU to host meetings and training sessions with the industry later this year more easily than we could previously.

Please note: The FIU's existing main contact details remain the same at this stage, and there are no changes to the PolSAR reporting portal, which remains the primary reporting method for all Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) submissions.
